HubSMP Lore Carrd
Here is a place where you can find information about HubSMP and the world lore as a whole. This will be updated when needed so that people are able to recap on what's been happening and catch up!
What is HubSMP?
HubSMP is a series of psychological horror based stories with added body horror and dystopian themes.
These stories are told in the form of a Minecraft SMP
HubSMP: The Social ExperimentThis was the first part of the first story told under the HubSMP name. This is the world Spectra-7X1, a dystopian land based in London in the year 2441. A hub, a lab. A place of torment but this world is not like your own but built on technology. This is a dystopian cyberpunk world that this place is in.People kidnaped from the streets and smaller settlements. Who would look for them? No one. People go missing every day after all ;)People who go missing are nobody or are now. It's such a normal part of life from people dying, breaking apart, leaving and moving on. It's never a worry if someone goes. Just no one realizes some do disappear by force down to the hub. A lab who likes to take to change people and mix them together in the most twisted ways pushing people past limits you would never normally push through~You may try to escape, cry, hurt or even change who you are fundamentally but deep down one thing is clear. Survive. Try as a team or alone just regardless you must survive, it's the last part of your brain that kicks in after all is taken away. Will you make it through the experiments?
The Hub
Something that began as an idea shared by five close friends known as Alastor, Zoe, Arlo, Xander, and Rain. Each brought different things to the table from coding to medical practice but all of them dreamed of a future most feared to imagine. Together they built something the world had never seen before. The Hub.Rising at the edge of the city, the Hub campus doesn’t quite blend with its surroundings. Its structures hum faintly, lights glowing brightly no matter the time of the day making it feel alive. The air around it feels charged as if the very ground remembers every invention, every miracle and every mistake. From within the tall walls, the Hub oversees nearly all advanced technology and medical innovation across the world. Their influence reaches far beyond their campus.Communications, health systems, cybernetics, infrastructure, everything is touched by their hand and influence. For many the Hub is a lifeline. For others a quiet power that watches too closely.People come to the Hub when needed, Some come seeking rare supplies. Others beg for aid only the founders’ genius can provide. All who do quickly learn the Hub’s most unspoken rule: nothing is free.To support their work, the founders crafted machines, robots built not to mimic humanity but to enhance it. These creations glide through the campus assisting where needed. From helping doctors in surgeries to carrying materials between the various buildings within the campus walls. They were never human but their presence is as much a part of the Hub as all of the other people who help maintain The Hub.So the Hub stands: a sanctuary of brilliance, a fortress of secrets, and a reminder that every advancement comes with a cost because despite the fear, despite the rumors, the Hub remains a beacon. its cold light drawing humanity closer, like moths to a flame. After all, the Hub promises solutions, miracles, power.
The only question is what it demands in return.
Safe Haven
Safe Haven is a place that you won't find marked on any map. It lies hidden within the root system of an old tree. Few know the path but for those who do, Safe Haven is the escape from the darkness and looming dread they experience. The sanctuary is led by King and Steve bound by a shared loyalty and understanding of what the world has become. By their side works Noeull who seems to know things they were never told. Between them they keep Safe Haven and the people who call it home alive.Inside the halls, they shelter the broken results of Dr. Lock’s experiments. Individuals twisted, enhanced, or shattered by science and manipulation as well as people born to this world with strange abilities or changes. Many arrive trembling, hunted, or half-feral but no matter what Safe Haven takes them in, offers them warmth, food, a bed, and when they can manage it… healing. Not every rescue ends well. Not every treatment works. But they try, even when the cost is steep.Safe Haven stands firmly against the Hub and the Lab. They know people see the escaped experiments as monsters and freaks but they don’t care. Safe Haven knows that one day the hunters or Scientists will find their hidden tree but until then, Safe Haven fights in the shadows and in silence for every life they protect. The sanctuary is peaceful, but not free of rules. Curfew at nightfall isn’t optional, it’s survival and most understand this. However, during daylight hours people are free to come and go as they please, so long as you return before the tree seals itself for the night and you aren't followed. Just don't get caught as those who don’t make it back in time… are rarely found whole. In the heart of a dying world, Safe Haven offers what little safety it can. A refuge, a family, a brief sanctuary from the horrors outside.
The Outsiders
The Outsiders are the ones who refuse every side. They reject the Hub’s cold manipulation and they despise Safe Haven’s fragile compassion. To them both are corruption, two different poisons eating the world alive. Once Led by a figure known only as The Crow, now lead by the K's, the Outsiders have carved a place for themselves in this broken world.Their base and camp lies in the skeletal remains of an industrial area long succumbed to time and rust. It’s a place that should have collapsed years ago… yet somehow, it clings on and so do the Outsiders. The people who gather here call themselves human. purely human. They pride themselves on it. But spend enough time watching them and you’ll notice the strange behaviors and secrets looming in the shadows. The Outsiders live by strict code, laws carved into metal sheets hammered into the camp walls. Break one and punishment is swift and final. Order is maintained with a brutal efficiency that mirrors neither the Hub’s chilling precision nor Safe Haven’s desperate hope. It is something harsher. Something forged by survival. But the true heart of the Outsiders beats at night. When darkness falls and the ruined district sinks into silence, they move. The Crow calls it “the cleansing hours.” Outsiders disappear into the night to hunt, scout, or capture anything that might threaten their existence or anything they simply deem a monster. Most outsiders to the camp have no idea what happens in the darkness. Most don’t survive long enough to learn.Though they appear human, the Outsiders carry secrets of their own. Some hide mutations beneath bandages or clothing and all of them know if a member is discovered to be anything other than human, even slightly, they will be executed or used as a bargaining piece in their games. They claim purity, They preach unity, but beneath the cracked masks and flickering fires, the Outsiders may be the most dangerous monsters this world has left.
The Wistful Sanctuary
The Wistful Sanctuary represents the other side of the coin to outsiders, born from defiance of those who never truly belonged. Founded by 5 outsiders members, Willow, Teale, Nawa, Carnivex and Blank. Each of them non-human and once hidden within the Outsiders holding on to the true ideals of the Ex leader of the Outsiders creating something softer and less rigid that what the Outsiders had become. At the core, The faction exists to create a place where both humans and non-humans can coexist in genuine peace without fear or the need to hide who they truly are. However, their path has not been easy. Still viewed as an extension of the Outsiders, they struggle to establish their own identity and independence and breaking away from that shadow is proving to be challenging leaving them in a state of proving who they are and who they are not.Despite everything, the Wistful Sanctuary continues to make an effort to build connections with The Hub and Safe Haven even when those attempts are met with hesitation or fail all together. But to them, Every interaction is a step forward in the right direction.Within the faction they strive to maintain a calm and drama-free environment in a world that is defined by conflict and destruction. The Wistful Sanctuary values stability, understanding and inclusivity. This is a place for people who don't fit and need a place to belong.
Factionless
As a factionless person, you are an outcast to society, something less than people in this world in the eyes of those who still belong. Being factionless is not just frowned upon. it is treated as a stain, a warning, a quiet justification for cruelty. You exist outside the system that defines worth, and without it, you are invisible when it matters most and painfully visible when it doesn’t.You have no protection. No rights. No voice in the choices that are made in this world. The factions look through you as if you are already gone, yet they watch you closely enough to remind you that you don’t belong. In this world, loyalty is survival and without it, you are left exposed, stripped of identity and safety. To be factionless is to live with the constant awareness that no one will come if you scream. That no one will intervene if you are dragged into an alley, mocked in the streets, or left bleeding on the ground. It is an unspoken law that those without a faction do not deserve mercy. You are not just abandoned, you are permitted to be broken. There are whispers that some factionless are hunted, not officially, not publicly, but enough that people stop asking where they went. Bruises go unnoticed. Disappearances go unrecorded. The world does not punish those who harm you. It quietly allows it.And the most terrifying part is that over time, you begin to understand why.

June 2026
Weekly update 1st - 7th June 2026
This week on HubSMP there have been some world changing moment and some character conflicts that have occoured.Malachi woke up for the first time in a while and was informed that Tilda has given herself in to the hub to become stronger with the "help" of Dr. Cassius breaking the promise she had made that she would stay.In Wistful there was a visiter from the Outsiders known as Augusta and A person who was refered to as "rainbow guy" who appeared out of nowhere. They were show around the faction by Malachai and Thias (later joined by Jamie) before heading back to the dorms and everyone being convinced to make a pillow fort by Jamie. After making the fort Augusta got on Malachi and Thias' nerves by no reading the room and saying some insensitie things about Tilda "already being dead". Jamie tried to calm the situation but everything ended in Thias and Malachi leaving to head to Thias' home and Augusta leaving to go back to the outsiders.

A few days later Alastor and Axel decided to host a Hub Master event where 4 teams took part in completing diffrent tasks to gain points. These tasks were:1. Funniest Joke
2. Talent
3. Stupidest item
4. Make a silly thing with a stack of blocks
5. Find these co-ordsThe final task ended up leading to a star shaped hole that was discovered to have been created when Quasar died.

As the teams found the portal, Dr. Lock went missing with only Axel being aware of this. After everyone started to get confused and question the hole in the ground the portal lit and people decided it would be a good idea to jump in...Upon jumping in everyone found themselves in a new rehem known as the end. Faced with the danger of the Dragon the idea of factions was abandoned momentarily and working together the Dragon was defeated resulting in another portal opening up but this one was a doorway.Upon entering they were faced with a place known as The Archive and faced with two people known as The Book Keepers.

In The Archive there were bookshelves with books about everyone. From this Lune and Noeull were revealed to be the same person. They decided to get angry with the book keepers and one of the Keepers decided to show what they could do by burning one of Noeull's books meaning she was been forced to forget the whole of part 1 in the labs passing out in excruciating pain as her body goes thru a transformation.Quasar messed with the other Book Keeper pushing for an answer resulting in their story being rewritten and his memories of being from another dimension changed. He no longer remembers this detail about himself and thinks he's from America.Augusta pushed for answers also asking the book keepers to prove themselves. One of the keepers then revealed that Augusta is a cannibal and has been for many years. The book keepers left through the portal before being questioned in the Natural zone and revealing they write the stories of everyone and edit them at will. This left one question... Is free will even a thing?
Oh yeah also if anyone wanted to know here are the scores from the Hub Master event:
